We held my son's 7th birthday at the Faraday Centre. We had an incredible day and the staff have all been friendly and helpful from my initial enquiry through to the birthday itself. A real hidden gem in Napier. Will be spreading the word. Thanks for making my son's birthday extra special :)

Great interactive displays - clear explanations, fun items to use. Loved seeing the children wander through, able to touch everything. I could have spent hours on the player piano.

I liked everything but the robot was a bit scary. I especially liked the levers, pulleys, phones and electricity, and the polyphon.

A very interesting and informative compilation of technological history. It brings back memories of my parents' early days. All the children were enthralled at the exhibits and loved how they interacted with the "old' technology. A "MUST SEE" for everyone.
